Both John McCain and Barack Obama spoke at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials in Washington, D.C., on Saturday. McCain's speech was interrupted by an anti-war protester. He warmed to the crowd most by talking about immigration reform.
The respectful reception McCain got was followed by a far more raucous one for Obama, and Obama's first words were in Spanish. Unlike McCain, Obama directly appealed for the audience's support.
