A boil water advisory that was in place for areas in the South Bay including Coronado, Imperial Beach and parts of Chula Vista and the city of San Diego has been lifted, according to the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health. -
Imperial Beach and parts of three other cities are forced to boil water for another day because water tests revealed e-coli contamination in the city’s water system. It is a major blow to an area already overwhelmed by sewage-related issues. -
The Board of Supervisors is required to ratify a local proclamation within seven days of an emergency's being declared.
