Shelter to Soldier, in partnership with the Foundation for Women Warriors, will host its annual Sisterhood of Service event on Monday, May 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the beautiful Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach (1 Ponto Rd, Carlsbad, CA 92011). Presented by Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, with Women of Service sponsor The Boeing Company, the event honors the strength, resilience and service of women veterans and active-duty military women. Now in its fourth year, Sisterhood of Service brings together women from all branches of the military for a day of connection, empowerment, and community. The event reflects a shared commitment by Shelter to Soldier and the Foundation for Women Warriors to uplift women who have served and address the unique challenges they face during and after military service. The event will begin with an all-levels yoga session, followed by refreshments, networking opportunities and access to resources tailored to the needs of women veterans.
