Republic Services will be hosting “Mulch Madness,” an organics composting event for Chula Vista residents. Chula Vista residents can take home free compost made from organic waste from curbside bins. Participants should also come prepared with their proof of residency, shovels, containers, and tarps. The event is held three times a year, with additional opportunities on August 26 and November 4.
