The First United Methodist Church - Escondido presents "The Gift of the Animals," a Christmas musical based upon the 12th-century Latin song "The Friendly Beasts," which tells of the gifts given to the newborn Jesus by the animals who were present. This all-church musical will feature the Disciple Singers choir and children and adult members from the church's three congregations (Sanctuary, Rise, and Manantial). This musical is being presented as a gift to the community.
