Festival 2022, an all-day event of three concert sessions featuring performances by 15 choral groups and massed choirs presented by the Choral Consortium of San Diego. The Festival will feature the top choral groups in San Diego County performing by turn, five choirs in each concert session, concluding with a joint sing of all five choirs plus the audience. North Coast Repertory Theatre presents Richard Lederer’s Dr. Grammar Guy! After his sold-out performance of Amazing Words and other shows over the years, North Coast Repertory Theatre brings back Dr. Lederer with his newest performance on Monday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. About the show: The San Diego Union Tribune history quizmaster and language columnist will illuminate essential grammar, usage, and punctuation, including the terminal preposition, split infinitive, they as a third-person singular pronoun, and the utility of the serial comma. The sixth annual Adams Avenue Spirit Stroll, presented by Cutwater Spirits, will take place on Saturday, November 27, from 2 – 5 p.m., as part of the nation-wide Small Business Saturday. Spirit strollers will be able to sip a dozen holiday themed cocktail tastes and six sweet treats from 18 independently owned retail shops along Adams Avenue, from University Heights through Normal Heights and into Kensington. This festive small business celebration is limited to adults 21 & up (ID required).
