And that their travel and training expenses are paid for by private entities? The panel discussion features speakers who will examine the widespread use of US–Israeli law enforcement training exchanges and what that may mean for the American public. The speakers will address such topics as who organizes and funds the training and why, what is being taught to US police, the documented human rights abuses of the Israeli security units that provide the training, the potential consequences to Americans back home (particularly communities of color), and what some communities in the US are doing to try to end this alarming practice.
