VICTORIA FU is a visual artist who received her MFA from CalArts, MA in Art History/Museum Studies from University of Southern California, and BA from Stanford University. She attended the Whitney Independent Study Program and was in residence at Skowhegan. Fu has received grants from Art Matters and the Harpo Foundation, and is a 2015 Guggenheim Fellow. Her artwork is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY; Pérez Art Museum, Miami, FL; Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles, CA; MIT List Visual Arts Center, Cambridge, MA; Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, CA. In this special 2-day workshop only at the Comic-Con Museum, come meet the teenage founders of Cardboard Superheroes, Connor Lee and Bauer Lee, who have been building life-sized models since they were in 4th grade. They have extended their collection to include HulkBuster armor, C-3PO, Groot, and more! As an added bonus, you can make your own special effects action video with SEARCH Your Voice , an organization helping kids build confidence and become better public speakers.
