The GQA invites attendees to deck themselves out in their patriotic best and head on down as The Quarter is transformed into the biggest pre-game for the 4th of July! This Laser show is not to be missed as laser technicians are set to wow onlookers with state-of-the-art digital graphics and awe-inspiring effects. A DJ will be spinning throughout the evening to get the party started! Guests will want to come early this year as the Gaslamp Quarter brings in the gigantic, show-stopping Budweiser Clydesdales for an unforgettable photo-op starting at 4pm. The Budweiser Clydesdales made their first-ever appearance on April 7, 1933. From the Prohibition era to Super Bowl commercials, there is perhaps nothing more iconic in Budweiser’s storied history than its team of Clydesdale horses. More than just a mascot, the Clydesdales have been an integral part of Anheuser-Busch for more than 80 years. Now they are making their way back to the Historic Gaslamp Quarter on July 3rd , 2022! They have come to not only help the city of San Diego prepare of another Padres homestand but to raise awareness to the Folds of Honor Foundation that provides scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. Home to a culinary hotspot, the Gaslamp Quarter’s participating restaurants will offer food and drink specials throughout the evening!
