"Stages of Womanhood" is a powerful exhibition showcasing the works of three female artists exploring themes of identity, transformation, and resilience through their unique creative lenses. The exhibition will run from March 1 to March 31, 2025, at Artist & Craftsman Supply, 3804 Fourth Ave, San Diego, CA 92103, and will also be featured virtually with Ali Jay Fine Art Gallery in ArtGateVR. An opening reception will take place on Saturday, March 8, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. "Stages of Womanhood" showcases three distinct artistic voices, weaving deeply personal stories that illuminate the universal themes of femininity, motherhood, and self-discovery.

Participants will learn the process of relief printmaking. Printmaking is an artistic process based on the principle of transferring images from a matrix onto another surface, most often paper or fabric. Traditional printmaking techniques include woodcut, etching, engraving, and lithography, while modern artists have expanded available techniques to include screen printing. Participants will have the opportunity to create multiple prints of different colors and participate in aspects of “social practice” in which artworks serve to create community spaces through sharing and trading. *Seniors, use CODE: SENIOR10 to get $10 off of this workshop! This 2.5-hour class is suited for all experience levels and comes with all supplies to paint on a 16×20 canvas.
