  • Picture a hilly enclave in Los Angeles in the late 1960s where talented young musicians of diverse geographic and musical backgrounds migrated to, seeking artistic freedom and a countercultural lifestyle. A place that became known for its sense of community, with artists such as Joni Mitchell, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Linda Ronstadt, The Doors, The Mamas & The Papas, Carole King, The Byrds, as well as future members of the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac living close to each other, jamming together, and inspiring one another.
