  • This class meets weekly on either Tuesdays from 4-6 p.m. &/or Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 3-4 times each month Ages 13-18 years welcome! Lead instructor, Steffi Dotson, teaches this class that covers the properties of wood, machine safety and woodworking basics. Students will learn a mix of woodworking techniques, including hand tools and safe practice of machine operations. Depending on the specific project, joinery techniques, proper sanding and finishing are part of the curriculum. Each attendee will make their own project. Because safety is top priority, and each student works at their own speed, students are not always guaranteed to finish a project within the month-long class series. We encourage enrolling for multiple months to keep learning more skills. All materials are included. The projects in this class rotate, and we encourage students to repeat to continue learning and dive deeper into woodworking. • Military, first responders and sibling discounts • Scholarships available • Homeschool funds accepted • If this class is full, join the Interest List to be notified. • If you would like to be notified of future offerings, join the Interest List to be notified when new dates or spaces are available.
