Through George’s colorful and entertaining presentation, he will continue to illustrate and describe the remarkable stories of the California-born burger joints, diners, fast food, and restaurants that changed America from 1951-2010. Brimming with captivating historical details and photos, George’s tale will surely waken everyone’s inner foodie. George Geary is an award-winning chef, best-selling author, educator, casting judge and culinary contest judge for major food manufacturers. A former pastry chef for the Walt Disney Company, George is a Certified Culinary Professional, and was awarded the Culinary Educator Of the Year by the International Association of Culinary Professionals. He is well known for creating all of the cheesecakes for The Golden Girls. Author of several books and 11 cookbooks, George is a frequent guest on national and local LA TV.
