Participants will work together to plant native plants at San Elijo Lagoon while restoring the symbiotic relationships between the individual and the land. This event will offer a talking circle, a place of safety, discovery, healing, and wellness, and a nature tour celebrating the planet’s inherent queerness as we celebrate Earth Day today and every day. This 2SLGBTQ+-focused event is open to everyone; the queer community is especially encouraged to attend and come together, cultivate, and create a more sustainable, positive, and inclusive environment for all. Suggested donations of $5.00 to support a single seed growing into a thriving plant, $10.00 to help a young plant being cared for in a San Diego Garden where learning unfolds, or $25.00 to support The Queer Sol Collective’s Engaging Communities education program.
