During this workshop, participants will create one-of-a-kind handmade books using natural materials such as dried leaves, shells, and wood. Guided by museum educators, you will explore simple bookmaking techniques while considering how organic forms, textures, and found elements can hold memory and meaning. Bicycle Film Festival is coming back to San Diego at the Museum of Photographic Arts at The San Diego Museum of Art with three curated screenings of short films that celebrate the bicycle on July 25, 2026. Hosted by SD Bike Coalition and Bike SD. BFF San Diego presents international short film programs that appeal to film connoisseurs, avid cyclists, and everyone in between. Curated documentaries, narratives, animations, award-winning directors, and emerging talents all share equal billing. 3 p.m. CINEMATIC SHORTS A story driven program with diverse, cinematic filmmaking styles: documentaries, narrative, animation, and more. 5 p.m. ADVENTURE SHORTS For lovers of mountain biking, gravel, bike packing, and cycling in general.
