The San Diego County Farm Bureau is excited to announce the return of Farm Tour Day, taking place June 28 at 9 a.m. This year's event offers a behind-the-scenes look at a diverse array of local farms in Escondido, showcasing the heart of San Diego agriculture. Participants will enjoy guided walking tours led by the farmers themselves, sharing their expertise and passion for growing everything from mushrooms, succulents and cacti to citrus and avocados. Tours will be happening every half hour. As a bonus, end the day on a sparkling note with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine with any tasting purchase at a local winery. At 29, the Canadian performs over a hundred yearly concerts worldwide. The New York Times reviewed his March 2024 Carnegie Hall Preludes concert, noting his playing has "...gentle judiciousness, aristocratic reserve and a touch that tends shadowy without losing a core of clarity." Lisiecki performs a program of preludes on the Jacobs Music Center stage, treating the audience to dozens of succinct, characterful works by Chopin, J. S. Bach, Rachmaninoff, Szymanowski and Messiaen. For Classical Special Concerts, only children ages five years and older will be allowed into the concert hall.
