This course is designed to walk students through the steps of constructing their own electric and bass guitars, including using templates to cut the body from a blank. Students are guided through the use of routers and drills to remove material for fitting the components. You’ll learn to safely use the machinery and tools required to complete your own instrument. Students learn how to solder the components, install pick guard, strings and all parts needed. We will show how to finish your guitar and install all components so it’s ready to play by the end of the workshop. Materials are provided.
