To mark the highly-anticipated return of their hit franchise "The Librarians," TNT has partnered with 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Little Free Library, to distribute books and custom swag to more than 200 library stewards in their network, including the installation of ten new, custom-designed Little Free Libraries in cities throughout the United States. This collaboration will celebrate the debut of "The Librarians: The Next Chapter," airing on TNT in a special two-night premiere event that begins Sunday, May 25, right after NBA Playoffs coverage. Each participating Little Free Library will host a selection of books curated by the Little Free Library team and TNT, including "The Librarians" tie-in novels, collectible branded bookmark charms and window vinyls. Participating Little Free Libraries can be discovered on the organization's online map and app, starting May 25th, 2025 for three months. The City of Santee is hosting its 41st Annual Santee Summer Concerts Series! Come work outdoors with like-minded members of the community to help remove thousands of pounds of trash in just three hours! Each year, San Diego River Park Foundation volunteers remove more than 200,000 pounds of trash from our namesake waterway. Without our amazing volunteers, this trash would be left to pollute native animal habitats, parks and public spaces, leach contaminants into the water, and wash out into our ocean and beaches! St. Paul’s Senior Services invites the community to join Summerfest 2025, its signature fundraising celebration, on Saturday, August 16 at 5 p.m. The event will take place at the scenic Humphreys by the Bay, located at 2241 Shelter Island Drive, and promises a vibrant summer soirée filled with casual, comfortable, and colorful attire — think Hawaiian shirts and summer dresses. This exciting evening benefits the renovation and expansion of the PACE Reasner Center, which will enhance care access for low-income, frail seniors throughout San Diego County. As the first nonprofit in San Diego to launch the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in 2008, St. Paul’s has served more than 4,000 seniors, empowering them to live safely and independently at home by providing integrated medical, social, and home care services. The upcoming renovations will allow the program to grow, serving more than 200 additional participants and strengthening a vital safety net for vulnerable older adults. Guests will enjoy live music from Republic of Music as they mingle in the Lucky Lounge, set inside the glass-enclosed Marina Ballroom, open from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Attendees can also experience a fun photo green screen, explore the silent auction, and participate in RaffleMania for the chance to win outstanding prizes.
