We will paint from a life model on location at La Jolla Shores. Students are also welcome to draw instead of paint from the model if they prefer. Plein air painting is an excellent way to learn about oil painting technique and triumph over creative issues while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow artists. The class will emphasize value study, landscape composition, and color theory using a limited palette taught through demonstration and individual instruction.
