The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival (LJAWF) returns to La Jolla Village for its 18th year on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This free, two-day outdoor festival features world-class art, curated libations, live entertainment, and community programming along Girard Avenue from Prospect Street to Torrey Pines Road, while supporting arts education through its nonprofit foundation. More than 170 juried artists from across the U.S. and Mexico will showcase fine art including painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, ceramics, and glasswork, offering something for both collectors and casual art lovers. Beyond the art, guests 21+ can enjoy the popular Wine & Beer Garden, featuring a curated lineup of premier wineries, local craft breweries, and select spirits. Get that booty shaking like it’s 1977 as North City's Dancing in the Street series continues into the summer, transforming the district into an open-air dance party alongside its weekly Friday night farmers market. Professional dancers from Bella Lux will kick off the evening with a live performance from 6 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., followed by a dance lesson where guests can learn the moves from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. The night wraps up with open dancing from 7:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. accompanied by a live DJ. Between dance sessions, guests can groove their way through the farmers market, grab sips and bites from North City's eateries, and enjoy live piano and DJ sets. Thanks to funding provided by the California State Coastal Conservancy, The Hill Street Country Club has spent the last 3 months envisioning a new hotel concept connecting the regional art community to visitors and our local neighbors in North San Diego County. Join us at the Brooks theater to meet Hill Street’s founders, Marge and Dinah, and learn more about our building plans from architect partners Object Projects. Teaching Artist Lissa Corona will be on hand to lead participants in an art activity focused on local perspectives of Oceanside. Supplies will be provided and are yours to keep after the event. We’re excited to share what we’ve learned in our feasibility study and collaborate with you as we design our next steps.
