Soroptimists Together Against Trafficking and Soroptimist International of Oceanside/Carlsbad invites the public to a film screening of Surviving Sex Trafficking on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carlsbad City Dove Library. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online. The filmmaker Sadhvi Siddhali Shree will introduce the film and take part in a post-screening discussion. Surviving Sex Trafficking examines the ongoing struggles of survivors as they desperately fight to break free of their past, heal their bodies and minds, reconnect with a world of hope, and reclaim their lost humanity. The evening will start in the Dove Library courtyard where attendees can mingle and chat with local anti-trafficking service providers like Project LIFE – North County Lifeline, One Safe Place, Alabaster Jar, and Free to Thrive.
