President Trump signed an executive order seeking to end gender-affirming medical treatments for children and teenagers under the age of 19.

The Golden Hour will feature a series of modular, collaborative works by Teresa Díaz de Cossio, Ilana Waniuk, Alvaro Diaz, and Joseph Bourdeau composed for the installed percussion instruments at the North Park Mini Park (behind The Observatory). Using an expansive repertoire of sounds, including toys, radios, live instruments, and electronics, as well as the public percussion installation at North Park Mini Park, the performers will present a series of vignettes as the sun goes down. The show will last roughly an hour, and audience members are invited to move about, or come and go freely during the performance. Will Stucky and Lauren Leigh, who are accomplished and award-winning songwriters in their own right, teamed up to write and release their first song, Feel This Way, in December 2023.
