  • Oktoberfest in El Cajon Returns September 26–28 & October 3–5, 2025 El Cajon’s beloved Oktoberfest, hosted by the German American Societies of San Diego, is back for two fun-filled weekends: September 26–28 and October 3–5, at 1017 S. Mollison Avenue. Since 1972, this family-friendly festival has celebrated German culture with live music feature our friends from Germany, the Guggenbach-Buam! We‘ll have folk dancing, contests, kids’ activities, and authentic German food and beer. Highlights include the opening parade and ceremonial keg tapping on Friday, Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m., plus the grand raffle drawing on Sunday, Oct. 5, where one lucky winner will receive a round-trip flight for two to Germany. Admission is $15 for adults on Fridays and Saturdays, $5 on Sundays, and free for all guests under 21 and active military. Parking is free but limited, and ridesharing is encouraged.
