  • On the Carmel Valley Trail 15K, 10K and 5K, participants will experience a combination of single track and dirt service road trails through beautiful open spaces. Welcome to San Diego's only trail race through beautiful Gonzales Canyon Open Space and Torrey Highlands Community Park. The 11th Annual event will once again start and finish at the Solana Ranch Park in Carmel Valley on the East end of Gonzales Canyon, lending itself to a flat start and finish with all the elevation gains in the middle. This year's courses will once again feature the locally famous "Puke Hill" for the 15K AND 10K, while the "Roller Coaster" stays exclusive to the 15K participants. That's right... Someone needs to race up and down the damn thing! 5K? Don't worry we keep it flat for you. Don't let the coastal backdrop fool you... the trails on this course can feel like a mountain race so train like it is. This is event is limited to 350 runners and will sell out! So, sign up early.
