Second Tuesday Explorations is a monthly gathering of creative writers that fosters support, inspiration, and community. Second Tuesday is a generative meeting. New topics for each session will challenge writers to explore and expand their craft. Generative writing prompts will encourage you to grow and learn in exciting new ways. The first hour will be spent introducing the prompt followed by a sustained ‘free-write’ period. During the second hour, writers will be invited to share their writing with the group. The California Note Catchers, a woman's non profit harmony chorus, will present a free concert, "Summer Delight" on Saturday, June 15, at 2 p.m. at the La Mesa United Methodist Church, 4690 Palm Ave. The chorus, under the director of Kayla Rodgers, will present a variety of songs in four-part harmony.
