His postcard images of the park offer a rare look at San Diego’s cultural and recreational heart. At 2:30 p.m. "The Botanical Building Restorations" with Wayne Donaldson, Architect The Botanical Building in Balboa Park was constructed for the 1915 Panama California Exposition to display flora native to California. Mr. Donaldson tells us how it was faithfully restored from the ground up. Snacks are served at intermission.
