San Diego Civic Dance Association’s 2023 FNOT: Fundraising Night of Theater is our BIG annual fundraising event and review/preview show of our favorite choreography from the year before and some sneak peaks at the year ahead. We need you now more than ever! Prior to the Covid pandemic, SDCDA’s hard working volunteers raised over $150,000 annually to cover program costs. Like many nonprofits, we are still in recovery mode and we need your support. In addition, a lack of payment by the ticket company we used for our 77th Annual June 2023 recital shows has impeded our ability to properly fund our program. Dynasty Dance Co., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing dance education and opportunities for aspiring artists and underserved youth, is excited to present "Boo Birthday Bash," a Halloween-themed dance extravaganza set to enchant the community with spectacular performances and a night of fun and festivities. Taking place on October 14 from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Starlight Dance Studio, this hair-raising event promises to be an unforgettable experience for all. Not only will guests enjoy bewitching dance sessions by the talented team of Dynasty Dance Co., but they will also have the chance to participate in a dance party, interactive sensory play stations, a jumpy and rally pit, pumpkin and pumpkin decorating station, Halloween-themed crafts and games, and a costume contest. Plus, attendees can indulge in complimentary mimosa bar and chili cook-off tastings while voting for their favorite recipe. VIP guests will also receive a swag bag and gain admission for themselves and one child with each ticket. Adult tickets are available for an additional $10.
