Join us for more than 70 Gaelic Football, Camogie, and Hurling games played by dozens of teams across the USA and Canada in a one day tournament open to the public. Free admission and parking. Also, enjoy Irish music, performances by Clan Rince School of Irish Dance and a beer garden for 21 and over. The West Coast Sevens is the second largest Gaelic sports tournament in the US. Local San Diego teams competing include Setanta Gaelic Football and Social Club, Na Fianna Ladies Football and Camogie Club. St. Peter's Hurling Club, and San Diego Rovers Hurling Club. Hurling has been played for more than 3,000 years, and is considered the fastest game on grass using a wooden stick called a hurley and a small leather ball called a sliotar.
