  • Rumorosa, the Cali-Baja inspired restaurant located on San Diego’s Harbor Island, has teamed up with Baja’s oldest winery, Bodegas De Santo Tomás, to host an exclusive one-night-only La Sala Dinner on Friday, October 25 at 7 p.m., with a welcome reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. This four-course culinary experience will pair a thoughtfully curated menu with four distinctive varietals from the historic winery, offering guests a culinary journey through the flavors of Mexico’s most celebrated wine region. The four-course dinner menu, developed by Rumorosa’s Executive Chef Marcos Seville, includes Spicy Pear Glazed salmon with ash rolled big eye tuna, octopus carpaccio, aguachile negro, paired with Blanca Mexico; Lavender Glazed Duck Breast, featuring duck prosciutto, honey poached gooseberries, parsnip puree, paired with Barbera; Chicharrón Wellington served with salsa verde and fondant potatoes, paired with Tinta Mexico; and for dessert, Tres Leches Tiramisu featuring spiced chocolate, carajillo, and fresh berries, paired with Rosado Mexico.
