  • The Friends of the Encinitas Library present Watson, Beldock & Beach with special guests Memo Acevedo and Dave Blackburn performing an acoustic blend of original folk, blues and jazz. This free show will be at the Encinitas Library on Sunday, February 5, from 2-3 p.m. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Together, the three are known for their dazzling musicianship, beautiful harmonies and humorous stage presence. Peggy Watson is known for her wide vocal range and her smooth emotional voice. David Beldock is widely regarded as one of San Diego’s best guitar players as well as being a top-notch, award-winning songwriter. Bassist, Paul Beach, toured the world for many years with well-known bands, including Gary Puckett, Spanky and Our Gang, The Association and the Mamas and Papas. The trio will be joined by special guests Memo Acevedo and Dave Blackburn. Memo Acevedo is an internationally renowned drummer/percussionist. He has performed with artists such as Tito Puente, Gregory Hines, Stephen Stills, Bruce Cockburn, Tom Scott and many more. Dave Blackburn is an established record producer/engineer, a guitarist, a drummer and an award-winning songwriter.
