Famed San Diego country/rock singer-songwriter Sara Petite, whose spot-on impersonation of Loretta Lynn has gained widespread attention, will be playing the role of Loretta Lynn at Lanford Days, July 20-21 in San Diego’s Gaslamp District. Petite has built an award-winning career with songs that owe as much to the rock & roll roadhouse as they do the honky-tonk. She has earned a wide range of accolades — including Top 40 success on the Americana charts, international airplay, and more than a half-dozen trophies from the San Diego Music Awards. Lanford Days is based on an iconic episode of ROSEANNE (season 5, episode 15), when the festival appeared in the episode featuring Country-Western legend Loretta Lynn, including a memorable duet with Roseanne over the closing credits.
