The Lupus Research Alliance is hosting its annual “2025 San Diego Walk with Us to Cure Lupus” event Saturday, November 22, 2025. This in-person fundraising event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with others in the community who are passionate about finding a cure for this debilitating autoimmune disease. Also included are inspiring speakers, light refreshments, fun festivities, and a Kids Zone. All are welcome. Thirty-nine San Diego Potters Guild juried members fill the Spanish Village Art Center patio with thousands of handcrafted pots, unique and distinctive, choosing the clay, form, shape, design, surface, decoration, glaze and firing technique. There'll be colorful bowls, wonderful plates and serving platters with imaginative designs, hundreds of beautiful mugs, carved and decorated vases and bottles, fabulous teapots, unusual planters and complex sculptures. A plane carrying more than 300 workers from South Korea who were detained during an immigration raid at a battery factory in Georgia last week left Atlanta around noon Thursday, bound for South Korea.
