  • Ahead of its official opening at Del Mar Plaza on April 1, Camino Books: For the Road Ahead will host a special preview event featuring a book reading and signing with author DK Ryland. Camino Books is an independent bookstore known for its carefully curated selection and welcoming atmosphere. Originally established as Diesel, A Bookstore, it has been a literary hub in Del Mar since 2019. The bookstore offers a thoughtful collection spanning literary fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, and hidden gems, catering to both avid readers and casual browsers. With its knowledgeable staff and commitment to fostering community through books, Camino Books continues its tradition of passionate bookselling in its new location at Del Mar Plaza. At this special preview event, guests will have the opportunity to hear DK Ryland read from "Giraffe’s Book is Missing a Story" and experience a first look at the bookstore’s new space.
