All 15 quilts will be on display and available for bid until 4 p.m. All proceeds from the quilt silent auction will benefit Operation Homefront, whose mission is to build strong, stable and secure military families so they can thrive, not simply struggle to get by, in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. During the event Operation Homefront will host an information table with details on the support and resources the organization offers for military families including upcoming holiday program opportunities. The El Camino Quilt Guild works to promote interest in all forms of quilting, to inspire and encourage quilt making and collecting and to gain knowledge of quilting techniques, patterns and history through educational meetings and friendship.
