This Regional Convening offers a unique platform for thought leaders and diverse stakeholders to connect, share insights, and work together to advance economic opportunity through the workforce ecosystem March 11th - CAEL Military Community of Practice- Half Day Event CAEL's Military Community of Practice is a national network of educators, employers, and mission-aligned organizations that share knowledge and initiatives that support military-connected individuals. This half-day event will allow attendees to hear from fellow practitioners about best practices and successful programs. CAEL will also present findings from the 2025 needs assessment and will facilitate a community of practice planning session. There will be ample time scheduled for networking. This is "Our Town" as Thornton Wilder wished it to be performed. Described by Edward Albee as “the greatest American play ever written, ”Our Town" presents the small town of Grover’s Corners in three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage” and “Death and Eternity.” Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, the play depicts the simple daily lives of the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually – in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre – die. Thornton Wilder's final word on how he wanted his play performed is an invaluable addition to the American stage and to the libraries of theatre lovers internationally.
