New Date: July 13 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The East Village Association is thrilled to announce that the East Village Block Party has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Baseball fans and community members of all ages are invited to come out and celebrate San Diego’s beloved Padres ahead of their game against the Atlanta Braves. The new date will feature many of the same exciting activations including local retail vendors, a walk-through car show, live music and entertainment, tasty bites, beer and cocktails, photo opportunities, family-friendly activities and more. Stemming from Southern California, Jenny and the Tramps consists of hardworking musicians from the San Diego music scene. Starting out playing cover songs and entertaining fans for hours on end, they have now come together to write original material. Members consist of Jenny O’Henny and the brothers De La Rosa. Marrying elements of Soul and Funk , their influences range from Amy Winehouse to Stevie Wonder, the Beatles, and Wheeler Walker Jr.

Gather with friends, family, and community at First Church of San Diego in Mission Valley to celebrate the Lunar New Year! We’ll start with shareable food (Vietnamese spring rolls) and Asian-themed games at 2 p.m. and at 4 p.m, we’ll be treated to a concert by Korean-native organist, Dr. Jaebon Hwang, who will play organ music by Asian composers and influenced by Asian folk music.

“…An enchanting evening!” –Time Out Magazine The Little Mermen are the ultimate Disney tribute concert for Disney fanatics of all ages. The band’s repertoire covers nearly a century of musical canon, including favorites from "The Little Mermaid," "Mary Poppins," "Frozen" and "Encanto." The group performs in full costume with band members dressing up as characters from the films. They tour nationally, having recently shared festival stages with Stevie Nicks, Green Day and Joan Jett.
