He will be reading excerpts of the book in English and a bisele af Yiddish, and playing some Chanukkah music. We will have festive nosh and mashke.   • University Christian Church (UCC) of San Diego announced Billboard-charting drag Christian musician and performer Flamy Grant will be a musician-in-residence in their Hillcrest church. Flamy Grant's "Bible Belt Baby" was nominated for Best Pop Album at the San Diego Music Awards, and spent over a week at #1 on the iTunes Christian chart this summer. The residency at UCC will involve approximately four weekends a year on-site in San Diego, working with UCC's existing music program, debuting new songs and working to build resources for progressive congregations.
