The most anticipated installment of San Diego Filipino Cinema’s year-long programming, the San Diego Filipino Film Festival (SDFFF) is back on its third year this fall from October 3-8, 2023. Held during Filipino American History Month in October, SDFFF is SDFC's centerpiece event that aims to raise awareness for Filipino cinema as an important art form and a powerful tool for representation, education, and entertainment. SDFFF will bring San Diego communities together to celebrate diversity, culture, and heritage through cinema with a diverse mix of narrative features, documentaries, and short films. Connect the Dots are stories that seek to learn and unlearn self identity, social norms and expectations in our present-day world.

The San Diego Watercolor Society proudly presents the Opening Reception for the 43rd International Exhibition, Friday, October 6th, 5 - 8 p.m., with over 100 ready-to-hang original paintings plus refreshments and the fellowship of other art enthusiasts. This highly competitive exhibition represents the very best of water-based media art from around the world. The exhibition runs from October 1-31, 2023 at our Gallery in The ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station. The Gallery is open every day, 10 - 4 p.m. The paintings can also be viewed and purchased online. Located at the corner of Balboa Drive & Juniper in Balboa Park Parking is FREE in Balboa Park The Haunted Trail is NOT recommended for children under the age of 10. However, if they are old enough to walk on their own, they will be allowed in with a parent. You will not be allowed to pick them up and carry them, they must be able to walk on their own two feet. Sorry, NO ENTRY for Babies, Stollers, or Children being carried. Children need a ticket to enter and we do not offer special pricing for children. There are many emergency exits throughout each attraction in case anyone gets too scared to continue, but please be warned, scared patrons/children who need to exit (or choose not to enter) will not receive a refund.
