  • Surfing Madonna Oceans Project is pleased to present “Save the Ocean” a juried regional show about our beautiful, fragile and fascinating world. 60+ artists from across California will be selected to showcase their work on the environmental theme during the month of October 2023 with the reception on Saturday October 14, 2023. Artists and Poets will be awarded with cash prizes for their exceptional work. The show will host all mediums of wall art including: painting, fabric, collage, assemblage and photography. The show will be juried by Cathy Carey, Cheryl Ehlers and Mike Redman. There will be art and poetry awards and poetry readings at the reception on Saturday October 14, 2023 from 4 - 6 p.m. Artists may enter up to 3 entries for $30. ALL work must be original, No Giclees. No Size Limit. Submissions accepted until Sunday September 17. Notifications will be sent on September 25, 2023. Art work needs to be delivered to Escondido Municipal Gallery on Tuesday October 10 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Artists will be recognized with cash awards, $1450 in cash awards for 12 awards.
