A unique series of four classes in which we learn about, experiment with, and practice brain-science-based approaches to writing. Find out how to implement new ways to overcome mental blocks, trigger creativity, generate three-dimensional characters, find the elusive Unexpected Plot Idea, and more—all centered on information gleaned from cognitive science. The first part of each class will be devoted to theory and practice: what cognitive science has to say about one of the topics, along with instruction in practical tools and techniques for transforming that theory into practice.
