Del Mar Plaza invites families and friends to an afternoon of holiday festivities with their annual holiday tradition, Santa Photos by the Sea, on Sunday, December 8 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Guests are encouraged to dress up their little ones and furry friends, write letters to the North Pole and take holiday photos with Santa featuring a backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. In true Del Mar style, embrace the holiday spirit by the sea. Net proceeds from Santa Photos by the Sea will benefit the Del Mar Village Association, supporting its mission to continue fostering local small businesses. The 29th annual Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Game Day 5K Run/Walk will take place along San Diego’s beautiful harbor front, starting at Harbot and Ash, just before the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by Kaiser Permanente. Athletes will run past thousands of cheering spectators. Runners, families, and spectators can watch the remainder of the parade, which features colorful floats, bands, and huge inflatable characters. All participants receive a finisher medal! Awards are three deep in all divisions. Have Fun & Win The Race Awards ceremony will take place at 5K finish. Awards will be given to the top three male and female 5K finishers in each age division.
