  • Imaginations go wild as the Brooks Theater Gallery explores all things science fiction!   • This exhibit looks at the history of toy trains through the decades, starting with the late 1800s and into the modern era. It features some of the oldest trains in the museum's collections. The exhibit also explores the reason we run trains around the Christmas tree. This year, we will display Department 56 buildings from our collection as well.   • The Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra, directed by Dr. Angela Yeung and joined by soprano Emily Ortlieb, presents a concert honoring the Saints and the faithful departed in anticipation of All Saints and All Souls Days. The program includes Haydn’s Symphony No. 84, “In nomine Domini, ” an orchestral arrangement of Borodin's Au Couvent, and selections from Handel’s Ode for St Cecilia’s Day.
