The Anstine Preserve is an 11.6-acre nature preserve with four distinct native habitats, including Coastal Sage Scrub, Oak Woodlands, Mixed Riparian and a freshwater pond. Home to more than 100 species of birds and 70 species to native plants, Anstine is a unique location in North County San Diego. Volunteers will be tasked with the removal of overgrown vegetation on trails, cutting back native pollinator gardens, and preparing the preserve for students, birders and hikers to enjoy.
