Nearly 68 years to the day that Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. John E. Hogan went missing over the skies of Germany during World War II, his remains have been identified and returned to his family. He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery will full military honors on Friday.

The Department of Defense released the names today of a Marine and Sailor who were killed on August 17 by an Afghan police officer they were training. Marine Staff Sgt. Gregory T. Copes, 36, and Navy Hospital Corpsman Petty Officer 1st Class Darrel L. Enos, 36, of were both based at Camp Lejeune. -
President Obama said today military action against Syria would be warranted if there was proof Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was moving chemical or biological weapons with the intent to use them.
