Rep. Jacobs announces funds for community colleges, reflects on UC strikes

U.S. Rep. Sara Jacobs (D-CA 51) stopped at Mesa College Friday morning to announce $1.5 million in federal funding for the Mesa College Family Resource Center, and $500,000 to support improvements at the Miramar College Police Academy.

Jacobs also addressed strikes at U.C. campuses; academic workers at U.C. San Diego are set to walk out on Monday.
