Cygnet Theatre opens 'The Joan' at Arts District Liberty Station
The Joan and Irwin Jacobs Performing Arts Center, affectionately called The Joan, opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating its role as the 18th historic building repurposed at Arts District Liberty Station. Irwin Jacobs shared his reflections on the day, honoring his late wife Joan, who was present at the groundbreaking in 2024.

The company will launch the new space with Stephen Sondheim's "Follies," a musical about a crumbling theater.
