I-5 Construction Open House

Join us for an I-5 Construction Open House! You’re invited to the Caltrans and SANDAG Build NCC Virtual Open House on Wednesday, September 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.. This highly anticipated project will extend one HOV/Carpool Lane in each direction of Interstate 5 (I-5) between Palomar Airport Road in the City of Carlsbad and State Route 78 (SR 78) in the City of Oceanside. This construction marks the final stage of Build NCC and will begin late 2021 and is expected to be complete by 2023. To prepare for the groundbreaking, the Caltrans and SANDAG Build NCC construction team invites residents, business owners, and the community to: • Learn more about the Carpool/HOV construction details and timeline • Provide feedback on transportation needs and opportunities for North County • Participate in a Q&A session with project team members Join us on Zoom!
