Garcia And Beethoven

Come hear two rarely performed choral pieces from the early 19th century. Both composed only 1 year apart but on different continents: Missa de Nossa Senhora da Conceição (Mass of Our Lady of the Conception) (1810) by the Brazilian composer José Maurício Nunes Garcia and König Stephan (1811) by Beethoven.

Performed by the Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra and Chorus, directed by Dr. Angela Yeung, with soloists Irene Marie Patton, soprano, Mary Boles Allen, alto, Alexis Alfaro, tenor, and Andrew Garrett, bass.

Admission is free with free-will donation at the performance. Donation by check can be marked tax deductible. Visit https://gsdmusicoterie.org for registration, further details and program updates.
