Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is hosting a free Spirit of the Barrio webinar on the opioid epidemic led by their Chief of Psychiatry, Dr. Joe Sepulveda with an introduction from San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan.
The purpose of the webinar is to discuss opioid use disorder, the science of addiction as a chronic brain disease, address the stigma behind opioid use and promote effective treatment strategies and harm reduction techniques.
The presentation will be followed by time for audience questions.
