The San Diego Automotive Museum will be hosting its monthly Cars & Coffee community event, an exciting way to get outside on Father’s Day at beautiful Balboa Park and see cars of all makes and models while enjoying coffee and donuts courtesy of Donald Sewell from GEICO. There will be some great items for dad for Father’s Day in the gift shop.
The community is invited to visit the museum during Cars & Coffee for a discounted admission price ($10 before 10 a.m.) or partake in the completely free event outside with coffee and donuts (while supplies last) for guests to enjoy while browsing the wide array of vehicles. The public is also invited to bring their own cars to display in the parking lot for other spectators to enjoy.
Some exciting cars currently on display include a 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible, a 1932 Pick Up Truck, and a Datsun 260Z. Also on display are 3 Shelby Cobras, including one that is still registered to Carol Shelby, and a Kurtis 500 that has won multiple awards such as the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. SDAM will also have cars featured from the Miata Club in the Car Club Corner and the Delorean to climb in and take photos.
